Summary

As a designer, I live for the thrill of crafting designs that resonate deeply. My approach is all about research, exploration, and fearless experimentation. Currently, I'm putting the finishing touches on my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts with a major in Communication Design, set to graduate with honors in December 2023.

Background

Angie's design process is a journey marked by user research, the art of creating user flows, brainstorming wordlists, and sketching out visions that ultimately evolve into polished, impactful designs. And between those stages, you'll find me in countless feedback sessions with clients, ensuring our design aligns perfectly with their brand. Her design journey kicked off in 2019 at Bastrop Signs and Banners, where she breathed life into signs, business cards, and logos for local businesses in Bastrop, TX. In 2020, She found herself at Texas Bindery Service in Cedar Creek, TX, lending my expertise to the printing and binding process.In 2021 and was accepted into the prestigious Ignite workshop at Texas State University, gaining invaluable insights into the realms of business research and development. In the spring of 2022, she joined a stellar team of students in presenting an interactive class project at SXSW.

Throughout the fall semester of 2022, Angie proudly served as a liaison for the AIGA Texas State chapter, crafting eye-catching posters and social media advertisements for their exciting events. In March of 2023, she lent her skills to a design sprint for the Kyle Fire Department in Kyle, TX, where they tackled recruitment and community outreach challenges head-on. In 2023, Angie clinched a well-deserved spot on the Dean's List, maintaining a stellar GPA above 3.5.
