We Celebrate the Billmore

I love to golf. But something I love doing more than getting out there on the links, it playing the round with my best friends. Once a year, I join my closest buddies to get away on a trip that reinvigorates the soul. (but often clouds the mind). Often, we find a place that's out of the way and not too busy. Why? Well let's just say that we aren't the best golfers on the block and the trip is really more to do with letting our hair down a little and just plain having fun! We've been doing the event for well over 15 years now. Although our last trip was right before COVID hit our lives.

So I thought it time to document the exploits.

You know when you get an idea in your head and just can't shake it? Well, I had a doozie I just couldn't get rid of until I did something about it.! I wanted to document the amazing time we've been having year after year. But I wanted to bring some legitimacy to it and make it appear bigger than it was. Enter here, the "PGA TOUR". At least a mock version of it. We kept saying to each other that the time we were having was just too good to keep to ourselves. So we wanted to share it with the world.

The original idea before I ran into some time limitations... AKA- "other responsibilities", was to create a complete professional broadcast of our 14th year running the event. It would be a full final round of the tournament with player spotlights, leaderboard updates, and real-action play from the round. And it wouldn't be complete before we had added some crazy commercials in between. Anyway, these clips and photos represent a small portion of the golfumentary that never came to be.
